This time, No Kings is all about the power we have in our own hands: our vote.
OUR VOICE, OUR VOTE will be a celebration of voting—and a chance to get ready to use that power. We’ll encourage and empower our neighbors to vote early, while sharing practical information about where and how to vote, how to make a voting plan, and what to do if challenges arise. And we’re going to have some fun doing it!
We’re planning a festive, uplifting, high-energy gathering featuring local musicians, singers, spoken-word artists, and other performers. Their voices and creativity will help bring us together, build the energy, and celebrate our country’s long—and still unfolding—journey toward the promise of voting rights for all.
Sign up for ongoing details and communications from local No Kings organizers.

Safety marshals are the backbone of a successful nonviolent demonstration. Using nonviolent de-escalation techniques, they help keep our actions safe, focused, and effective as we stand up for peace and justice.
We’ll need safety marshals for our October rally!
If you value showing up for our events and want to play an important role in keeping them safe, sign up to volunteer. Already trained and enjoy being a marshal? Bring a friend! Encourage them to get trained and join you at our next rally.
Those who sign up will be contacted by Nancy.

The Leon County Supervisor of Elections office website can be reached at: https://www.leonvotes.gov/
Our excellent SOE and SOE office serve Leon voters and their site is chock full of voter, election and candidate information.
Be an informed and active voter!
Here are some important dates from their site:
Primary Election 2026
General Election 2026
We encourage the use of mail ballots. These must be requested again in every election cycle. Complete them at home and deliver them to special dedicated Drop Boxes at every Early Voting Site, during voting hours. Check the SOE website for Early Voting site locations.
And thank you to all who volunteered to make this such a success!
We gathered at Amicus Brewing for a party and livestreamed watch party. Members of Mickee Faust joined us and performed their version of "I Will Survive." Party food, libations and a flag cake were enjoyed as we took the chance to relax with each other and watch the national 'Rise Up, Sing Out' concert hosted by the Committee for the First Amendment.

5 Calls is the easiest and most effective way for U.S. constituents to make a political impact. Make your voice heard!
Once your congressperson forms a public stance on an issue, it’s hard for them to walk it back. The earlier they hear your opinion, the more likely it is you’ll make an impact.
Calling is by far the most effective way to ensure that your representative hears you before they take a public stance.
