SPECIAL SESSION ALERT
Rapid Response Team Needed
REDISTRICTING SPECIAL SESSION - April 20-24, 2026
Governor DeSantis has called a special session on April 20 to redraw congressional maps mid-decade — a move that breaks with long-standing democratic norms and violates Florida’s Fair Districts Amendments, which prohibit partisan gerrymandering.
When the special session begins, we will urgently need a strong public presence to fill committee rooms and demonstrate visible opposition. If you’re willing to attend, we’ll make sure you have all the details about when and where to be.
.........................
Stop Mid-Decade Redistricting - Virtual Phone Bank

Take an easy step from home: phone bank this month to oppose mid-decade redistricting during the April 20–24 Special Session. Tell elected officials to keep their hands off our votes. Details and instructions will be shared wit you after you sign up. Register here. For more information, visit the No Partisan Maps website.

In the largest-ever Indivisible protest in Tallahassee, we joined nearly 8 million protesters across the U.S.and the world.
Thank you for showing up on such a complicated local day that included the Springtime Tallahassee festival and parade.
Thank you to those who spoke and made music in our program. And thank you to Indivisible Tallahassee organizers for such a successful, focused event.

SAFETY MARSHALS NEEDED! One of the best ways you can support upcoming demonstrations and resistance work in our community is to become a Safety Marshal. We believe that trained community Safety Marshals are one of our greatest contributions to effective nonviolent action for peace and justice. Participants in these Safety Marshal Trainings will learn nonviolent de-escalation techniques for effective and safe demonstrations. After successfully completing the training, volunteers can choose to assist with safety marshal work at a variety of demonstrations, marches and other events being held in the Big Bend area. We hope you’ll consider becoming one!

Since 2017, Postcards + Politics has mailed more than 200,000 self-funded postcards to legislators, members of Congress, the president, corporate & media CEOs and advertisers.
In 2026, we find costs rising for our cards and stamps and seek everyone's help to sustain our incredible momentum!

5 Calls is the easiest and most effective way for U.S. constituents to make a political impact. Make your voice heard!
Once your congressperson forms a public stance on an issue, it’s hard for them to walk it back. The earlier they hear your opinion, the more likely it is you’ll make an impact.
Calling is by far the most effective way to ensure that your representative hears you before they take a public stance.
